I have been a Star Wars Fan for 30 years, and have
had the privilege of attending every Star Wars Movie on
opening day! Many of my childhood memories were playing with
Star Wars Action Figures, creating places for them to play:
cardboard architectural structures, and gearing up for every
movie coming out!
Star Wars has inspired me to experience many similar ideas: I was
an F-16 Crew Chief in the Air force, and connected with the
Pilots, similarly to the X-wing Pilots being strapped in by
their ground crew! I also practice Iaido the Draw of the
Japanese Sword, which can be seen in many of the Light Saber
Battles through out the films...especially the Cantina Scene
in Episode 4, where Obi-Wan cleans House!
From these films, and my few exposures to Star-Wars/Sci-Fi
Conventions:
(1980's)Darth Vader & Boba Fett at Younkers Store in Omaha,
Nebraska. David Prowse Autograph at our local comic book store in
Omaha, Nebraska.
(1995) Star Wars Star Tour Ride/ Disney MGM, in Orlando Florida
(1998)Magic and the Myth: Air & Space Museum, Washington D.C.
(2000) Sci-Fi Convention in Netherlands: Autographs: Kenny Baker &
Garrick Hagon
(2006) Dragon Con in Atlanta, GA
(2007) Star Wars Gen Con 4, Los Angeles, CA
I am pleased to announce I am making original works of art:
Drawings, Paintings, etc. based on the Star Wars movies and
culture!
Please let me know if you are interested in an original work, and
look for more to come!
Thanks!
