Art where the process is as important as the result!

Contemporary Art focused on Texture, Color and Movement!

MLK DAY, January, 18 2010

mitch - Monday, 18 January 2010 08:29

I have had the opportunity to live in forty-two (42) separate places in my life, and visit many areas, cities and towns around each place lived.  One common theme in the places I have lived was meeting and making new friends.  I have had friendships with people from all walks of life, all income levels, all skin colors, several religions, and a near infinite number of life philosophies from the people I have encountered.   Much of the common theme is people looking to improve their life however that may be.  Quality of life is a common theme, and exercised daily, much of the same way in all these friends.

I teach now, and have an equally diverse student population, which I keenly try to reach, inspire, encourage and promote in my classes.  Most of my days are productive, but with people inconsistency is natural…even in teachers :)

I would like to think people who are here on my website are looking for artwork, ideas, or keeping tabs on my progress as a budding professional artist.  I also hope viewers will have a sense of who I am through my diverse styles of Art and Materials/ Mediums used.

I submit to everyone who reads this post to look at the philosophy Dr. Martin Luther King achieved.  I appreciate and applaud the actions he achieved and how he did it.  I also look to the future with my intentions of providing a positive contribution to society.

One thing I have seen in my limited experience is most people are doing the best they can with what they have (mentally, physically, monetarily..etc.) I also see people being kind to each other and look past boundaries of class and color.  I offer for all of us to promote this way of life, of seeking to improve our lives, the people we encounter, and the places we live.

Best to everyone,   Mitch

New Updates on Website

mitch - Wednesday, 13 January 2010 05:48

Good Morning!   Hopefully you’ve had a few minutes to check on the site, and have noticed a few changes taking place!  We have added: Media & Press, and Store.

I posted as many stories as I could retrieve which have been posted in the News Paper, and on the Radio.  As more media develops I’ll add it here.

The Store is up, but I need to delete three paintings as they have sold. (sorry really trying to get caught up) The Sold Paintings Are: Grand Canyon, Tuscany, & Wave Trough.  I will be adding more Art for Sale soon, so check back often!

We are continuing to fund-raise for the Elephant Parade, one to cover the expenses, and loan. If you would like to talk to me about donations please email me, and I’ll be happy to set up a phone call appointment. email: ronin478@hotmail.com

Thank you for your continued support!
